Brand New to IIa-Royal Air Force (RAF)
Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath

On March 1st, IIa started up its first contract in England, the A-76 direct conversion of the Base Enlisted Specialty Training (BEST) and Personnel Systems Management (PSM) at Royal Air Force (RAF) Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom. Stuart Allbritton serves as IIa's Program Manager for the UK team. Martha Wallus, IIa Director of Administration, and Jodie Owen, Eglin CCSS Personnel Systems Management (PSM) Lead, traveled to the site, located 75 miles northeast of London, to assist with the contract transition.

In addition to Stuart, new members of the IIa team are Michelle Becker, Gail Bergstrom, Steve Gladden, Jodie Parker, Dana Oliphant and Kirk Stoye. Each of these individuals brings unique skills, education

and experience that will be valuable in providing a high level of support and customer service to the RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall military communities including geographically separated units throughout the United Kingdom and Stavanger, Norway. These new staff members come together to create a diverse team of professionals capableof meeting the challenges of this new contract.

While the two bases, Mildenhall and Lakenheath, are a world apart in mission and attitude, geographically they are only five miles apart and have almost identical processes. This will provide the staff with the flexibility to combine resources in order to efficientlysupport both bases.

The UK staff will spend 60 days training with the military personnel who currently fill BEST and PSM positions at the two bases and will then assume full responsibility for the functions on May 1. To help kick off the 60-day transition, Jodie Owen provided initial training to the PSMs and identified potential hardware upgrades that will streamline delivery of PSM products to customers and improve overall efficiency.

The entire UK staff is excited about joining the team of professionals at IIa and are committed to combining their talents with the expertise and resources of the company in order to make this new contract a success.
