IIa Wins Contract to Manage 15th Federal Library

Oak Ridge, TN. Information International Associates (IIa) has been awarded a contract to manage the Phillips Research Technical Library at Kirtland AFB, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As part of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), this library serves the scientific and technical research needs of the lab. IIa also manages the Cannon Air Force Base Library in New Mexico.

With this five-year contract, IIa expands its library management service to 15 federal libraries. In addition, the company manages the Department of Energy Oak Ridge Operations Information Center.

IIa Senior Vice President, Pat Powell, who oversees the company’s library services, credits IIa's successful expansion of library operations to their underlying commitment to quality service. IIa-managed libraries repeatedly receive “Best in Command” citations for the company's innovative operations and outstanding service provision.

Founded in Oak Ridge in 1988 by Bonnie C. Carroll, IIa has a world-class reputation in scientific and technical information (STI) services, national and international information policy and standards development, library and information center management, intelligence work, and base operations support services. In March 2004, Federal Computer Week named Carroll one of the top 100 information technology professionals in America.
