Air Force Awards $18M in Contracts to IIa
Oak Ridge, TN. The Department of Defense has recently awarded $18 million to Information International Associates in contracts at Eglin and Wright Patterson Air Force Bases.
In announcing the awards, IIa president Bonnie C. Carroll said, “We are delighted with the confidence the Air Force places in IIa.” She added, “We believe our dedication to customer service and our excellent performance, along with our commitment to provide extra value to our clients, reaps these rewards. We have strong project managers at both sites who thoroughly understand our customers needs and are proactive in offering innovations to get the job done more effectively.”
IIa provides personnel support services, including education and training support, to more than 12,000 military and civilian employees at Eglin AFB near Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Company personnel manage Eglin’s Education Center, which has received four consecutive citations as the Best in Command facility for the Air Force Materiel Command. Under a separate contract, IIa manages the base library, which has also received repeated Best in Command citations and is currently one of the Air Force’s five-star libraries. IIa was named Eglin’s 2006 Small Business Contractor of the Year.
At Wright Patterson AFB, in Dayton, Ohio, IIa continues a long-term association to provide information and knowledge management services for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.
