Expands Operations to United Kingdom
Oak Ridge, TN. In March, Information
International Associates (IIa) expanded operations into the United
Kingdom through its new contract at Royal Air Force Stations Mildenhall
and Lackenheath. This new project creates a second IIa presence
in Europe. The Oak Ridge firm also works in Paris, France to manage
the operations of ICSTI, The International Council for Scientific
and Technical Information.
At RAF Mildenhall and Lackenheath, IIa staff will manage the base
level personnel database (PSM) and the base enlisted specialty
training program. Under this multi-year contract, IIa continues
their rapid growth in military administrative, education, and personnel
support services. IIa currently manages a similar project at Eglin
AFB in Florida and will start up a third project at Edwards AFB
in California in September. In addition to these three contracts,
IIa supports the national defense effort with its management of
nine AFB libraries in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Montana,
New Mexico, Virginia, and Wyoming. The company also manages technical
libraries for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland and
the Department of Labor in Washington, D.C.

In addition to the national defense support described above, IIa
also works with federal chief information officers and policy makers
