Wins Second Federal Supply Schedule
Oak Ridge, TN. Locally-owned Information
International Associates, Inc. (IIa) now has another vehicle to
grow their work force that supports the federal government. In
December, IIa was awarded its second Federal Supply Schedule (FSS)
Contract from the General Services Administration (GSA), “Management,
Organization and Business Improvement Services” (MOBIS).
MOBIS, a 20-year contract, allows the government to procure consulting,
facilitation, and program integration and project management services
from IIa more easily.
IIa currently employs some 45 staff and consultants in East Tennessee
in support of federal agencies such as the Department of Energy,
the U.S. Geological Survey, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Army.
The MOBIS award allows all Federal agencies direct access to the
services of the finest management consulting firms available in
the commercial sector. These services facilitate agencies’ response
to dynamic, evolutionary influences and mandates, including Homeland
Security readiness, and will enable them to continuously improve
mission performance.
Founded in 1988, IIa specializes in managing scientific and technical
information as a strategic resource for the Federal Government
