Team
IIa Supports Iraqi Elementary School
Oak Ridge, TN.— As a natural
extension of Information International Associates’ philanthropic
focus on literacy and life-long learning, IIa and its partners
in Team IIa-Oak Ridge have reached out to school children in Baghdad.
The elementary school has been adopted by U.S. soldiers serving
in the area. In February, local employees from team partners IIa,
NCI, and ARTI gathered a broad array of school supplies for both
the students and the teachers, from crayons, modeling clay, and
construction paper to notebooks, scissors, and glue.
Several
members of the Team IIa extended family have served in Iraq. Two
of Cheryl Beams three sons (Joshua and Steve) have completed tours
in Iraq. Son Steve was redeployed March 4 for his second tour.
Both Sean Beyer, son of David Bachor, and Luis Cotto, son-in-law
of Pat Powell, have completed tours in Iraq.
Team IIa-Oak Ridge is comprised of Information International Associates,
NCI Information Systems, ARTI, and Raytheon. It is an integrated
